It
begins with Liv Moore (main character) attends a party that actually turns out
to become a zombie feeding frenzy. She herself becomes one of the living
dead after being scratched on the arm. Even after finding out what she
had become she is still determined to pass as a human despite her now pale
appearance and newly lifeless demeanor, Liv forms a plan to resist her hunger
to consume fresh human brains by quitting her medical career and getting a job
at a coroner's office. There she can secretly snack on the brains of the
corpses delivered there. She soon discovers that she absorbs the memories
of those she feeds on, and she finds a new purpose as a psychic and works with
a detective to help solve their murders. Of course she isn't alone, I
mean after all she has her boss Dr. Ravi, and her partner Detective Clive
Babineaux.
