Parasyte is about a 17 year old named Izumi Shinichi who lives with his mom and dad in a peaceful neighborhood in Tokyo. One night worm-like aliens called Parasytes invade Earth taking over the brains of many human hosts by going through their ears or noses. One of the Parasytes attempt to crawl into Shinichi's ear while he's sleeping, but fails since he was wearing headphones. So instead enters Shinichi's body through his arm, but the Parasyte only takes control of the boy's right hand and is therefore named Migi (Shinichi named it). Shinichi was able to prevent Migi from traveling up into his brain, which meant that both beings kept their own intellect and personalities. Further into the anime the two meet other Parasytes and end up forming a strong bond with each other. The further you watch this the more it gets intense. So my only suggestion is to just watch the anime, that or you could read the manga since it does have one.
