Death Note

A god of death can kill anybody-provided they see their victim's face and are able to write their victim's name in the Death Note (notebook kind of thing).  Ryuk "a god of death" became bored of the shinigami lifestyle and seemed interested in seeing how a human would use a Death Note, and he drops one into the human realm. 

Yagami a high school student and is considered a prodigy stumbles upon the Death Note, and tests out the deadly notebook by writing a criminal's name in it.  After the criminal dies immediately following his experiment with the Death Note, Yagami is surprised and quickly recognizes how devastating the power that has fallen in his hands could be. 

So with this new power Yagami decides to kill all criminals in order to build up a brand new world where there is no crime, and also a world where all the people worship him as a god.  But it is quickly discovered that the police have indeed discovered a serial killer who is targeting criminals and they try to apprehend the culprit. The catch is that the investigators must count on the assistance of the best detective in the world (a young and eccentric man known only by the name L.)

Nightmare Before Christmas

The movie begin with saying that each holiday has its own town. Halloweentown, for example, is in charge of all the preparation for Halloween and its most prominent citizen is a skeleton named Jack Skellington.  So one night when Jack becomes bored with another fright night, he wanders away from town and stumbles across Christmastown and becomes entranced.  Jack decides that he needs to bring Christmas to Halloweentown and he is willing to just about anything to make it happen. Even if that means kidnapping Santa himself.  Unfortunately his plans don't exactly come out right.  The holidays just don't go together.  Whether it's a coffin-shaped sled pulled by skeletal robo-reindeer to gifts that terrify the children.  The effects just don't come out the way Jack wishes.  Even at one point the military is called out to shoot Jack's sled from the Christmas Eve skies.  If you want to know how it ends than you will just have to watch the movie for yourself then now don't you.

Fairy Tail

This anime is set in an imaginary world of Earth, where magic exists.  There Exists a Mage Guild called "Fairy Tail."  The guild is stationed in the town Magnolia, residing in the Kingdom of Fiore.  It is also currently being governed by Makarov (the Guild master). 

Lucy Heartfilia, a 17 year old girl wishes to become a full-fledged mage and join one of the most prestigious Mage Guilds in the world. (aka Fairy Tail) So one day, just out of pure coincidence she meets Natsu Dragneel, a boy who has a total bad case of motion sickness, but has a cheerful nature. However she does not know that Natsu is the closest connection to Fairy Tail, since he is a mage belonging to the Fairy Tail Guild.

It's a really interesting anime, if I do say so myself.  As of right now it is still an ongoing anime.  And I don't know how many times I have to say this, but yes there is a manga for this series that I know that you would love to read.

Kim Possible

Kim Possible looks like any average high-school cheerleader, but in her free time she is saving the world from super villains.  Her partner Ron Stoppable, his pet Rufus, and Wade are also on her team to save the world. Ron is pretty clumsy with almost everything he does. Rufus is a naked mole rat that is always there to help out the duo with the going gets rough. And Wade is what you would call a resourceful webmaster, who seems to be cable of doing anything, at least if it comes with some type of technology. She may be very good at defeating bad guys, she still has to cope with the typical pressures of school, family, and social life.

Ben Ten

The story of Ben Tennyson is about a 10 year old who gets frustrated with his family, has challenges with his peers, and seems to always get into problems that he can't solve alone.  He's a typical kid who becomes very atypical after he discovers the Omnitrix, a mysterious alien device that transforms him into ten different alien species.  With the Omnitrix Ben is now what you would call a hero, but since he turns into an alien people would freak out since they are either scared or are just really big fans of him.

Sword Art Online

Year 2022, virtual reality has progressed by leaps and bounds, and a massive online role-playing game called Sword Art Online (SAO) is launched.  With the hip of the new "NerveGear" technology, players can control their avatars within the game using only their thoughts. 

So Kazuto Kirigaya otherwise nicknamed "Kirito," is one of the lucky people who had gotten the game before everyone else. (other wise known as he was a beta)  When the other ten-thousand people got the game he finds himself back in the elaborate world of Aincrad, one full of fantastic medieval weapons and gruesome monsters.  However, in a cruel turn of events, the players soon realize that they cannot log out of the game.  It would seem that the game's creator (Kayaba Akihiko) has trapped them in his new world until they defeat the final boss on the 100th floor.  

To escape Aincrad, Kirito will now have to cooperate with his fellow players.  Some are allies, while others are foes.  Kind of like Asuna Yuuki, who commands the leading group attempting to escape from the ruthless game.  And to make matters worse, Sword Art Online is definitely not all fun and games, for example if you die in Aincrad, then they die in real life.  Kirito must adapt to new reality, fight to stay alive, and hopefully break free from this virtual hell.
