Nightmare Before Christmas

The movie begin with saying that each holiday has its own town. Halloweentown, for example, is in charge of all the preparation for Halloween and its most prominent citizen is a skeleton named Jack Skellington.  So one night when Jack becomes bored with another fright night, he wanders away from town and stumbles across Christmastown and becomes entranced.  Jack decides that he needs to bring Christmas to Halloweentown and he is willing to just about anything to make it happen. Even if that means kidnapping Santa himself.  Unfortunately his plans don't exactly come out right.  The holidays just don't go together.  Whether it's a coffin-shaped sled pulled by skeletal robo-reindeer to gifts that terrify the children.  The effects just don't come out the way Jack wishes.  Even at one point the military is called out to shoot Jack's sled from the Christmas Eve skies.  If you want to know how it ends than you will just have to watch the movie for yourself then now don't you.

Fairy Tail

This anime is set in an imaginary world of Earth, where magic exists.  There Exists a Mage Guild called "Fairy Tail."  The guild is stationed in the town Magnolia, residing in the Kingdom of Fiore.  It is also currently being governed by Makarov (the Guild master). 

Lucy Heartfilia, a 17 year old girl wishes to become a full-fledged mage and join one of the most prestigious Mage Guilds in the world. (aka Fairy Tail) So one day, just out of pure coincidence she meets Natsu Dragneel, a boy who has a total bad case of motion sickness, but has a cheerful nature. However she does not know that Natsu is the closest connection to Fairy Tail, since he is a mage belonging to the Fairy Tail Guild.

It's a really interesting anime, if I do say so myself.  As of right now it is still an ongoing anime.  And I don't know how many times I have to say this, but yes there is a manga for this series that I know that you would love to read.

Kim Possible

Kim Possible looks like any average high-school cheerleader, but in her free time she is saving the world from super villains.  Her partner Ron Stoppable, his pet Rufus, and Wade are also on her team to save the world. Ron is pretty clumsy with almost everything he does. Rufus is a naked mole rat that is always there to help out the duo with the going gets rough. And Wade is what you would call a resourceful webmaster, who seems to be cable of doing anything, at least if it comes with some type of technology. She may be very good at defeating bad guys, she still has to cope with the typical pressures of school, family, and social life.

Ben Ten

The story of Ben Tennyson is about a 10 year old who gets frustrated with his family, has challenges with his peers, and seems to always get into problems that he can't solve alone.  He's a typical kid who becomes very atypical after he discovers the Omnitrix, a mysterious alien device that transforms him into ten different alien species.  With the Omnitrix Ben is now what you would call a hero, but since he turns into an alien people would freak out since they are either scared or are just really big fans of him.

Sword Art Online

Year 2022, virtual reality has progressed by leaps and bounds, and a massive online role-playing game called Sword Art Online (SAO) is launched.  With the hip of the new "NerveGear" technology, players can control their avatars within the game using only their thoughts. 

So Kazuto Kirigaya otherwise nicknamed "Kirito," is one of the lucky people who had gotten the game before everyone else. (other wise known as he was a beta)  When the other ten-thousand people got the game he finds himself back in the elaborate world of Aincrad, one full of fantastic medieval weapons and gruesome monsters.  However, in a cruel turn of events, the players soon realize that they cannot log out of the game.  It would seem that the game's creator (Kayaba Akihiko) has trapped them in his new world until they defeat the final boss on the 100th floor.  

To escape Aincrad, Kirito will now have to cooperate with his fellow players.  Some are allies, while others are foes.  Kind of like Asuna Yuuki, who commands the leading group attempting to escape from the ruthless game.  And to make matters worse, Sword Art Online is definitely not all fun and games, for example if you die in Aincrad, then they die in real life.  Kirito must adapt to new reality, fight to stay alive, and hopefully break free from this virtual hell.

The Lion King

The Lion King presents the story of a lion cub's journey to adulthood and acceptance of his destiny.  Simba begins life as the honored prince, the son of the all powerful King Mufasa.  The cub was happy until a tragic accident and Mufasa ends up killed.  Mufasa's death drives Simba away from the kingdom.  While in exile the younging befriends Pumbaa the warthog and Timon the meerkat, and he lives with them with a carefree jungle life. When he becomes an adult he is visited by the spirit of his father, who tells him to take his rightful place as king.  Someone from Simba's past will also show up, and through the movie things will be very interesting.   

Sonic Underground

Go on an adventure with Sonic The Hedgehog, and this time Sonic is 1 of 3 siblings, who together are known as the rock band "Sonic Underground".  In addition the siblings are the children of Queen Aleena (queen of Mobius), who hid her children away to keep them safe from Dr. Robotnik.  Robotnik learns of the prophecy that says that the hedgehogs will one day defeat, find their mom, and also restore peace to the world they live on.  He makes sure to start immediately, and he makes many schemes to ensure that the siblings do not fulfil the prophecy, but with the aid of powerful medallions, Sonic, his brother Manic, and their sister Sonia, are determined to take down Robotnik and his SWAT BOTS as well.

Naruto & Naruto Shippuden

The number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja, Naruto Uzumaki lives in the Hidden Leaf village (Konohagakure).  Moments from his birth a huge demon known as the Nine-tailed Fox (Kyuubi), attacked Konohagakure and wreaked havoc on the village.  To stop the Nine-tails the 4th Hokage sacrificed his life and sealed the beast inside the newborn Naruto.  Naruto struggles to find his place in the village because of the fox inside him.  His dream is to become the next Hokage, and he does meet many friends and foes along the way.

This and that happens and Naruto leaves the village of 3 years.  But now he is back, and stronger than ever.  He is on a quest to save his best friend Sasuke Uchiha from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru.  He has more dangerous enemies after him as well, kind of like the shinobi organization that calls itself the Akatsuki. 

So as you anime fans know Naruto Shippuden is still an ongoing anime. Naruto is a pretty big thing to watch and to read at the moment.  And as I have just said YES there a manga for both Naruto & Naruto Shippuden... Even if the manga cover might not say Shippuden, you'll get the drift since the manga of course is numbered.

Code Geass

The Holy Empire of Britannia invaded Japan on August 10th of the common Era.  Japanese defences fell one after another, before the might of Project Knightmare.  After the war Japan was given the name Area 11.  At the time of the invasion young Lelouch vowed to his Japanese friend Suzaku that he'd be the one to destroy Britannia.  Years later, when Lelouch is in high school, but he regularly skips out of school to go play chess and gamble on himself.  So one day Lelouch accidentally gets caught up in a local terrorist attack against Britannia, and gets reunited with his childhood friend Suzaku as well as meeting some mysterious girl who goes by C.C. When the rest of Suzaku's team arrives Lelouch is cornered in a life and death situation.  The girl gives Lelouch the power known as Geass (which makes anyone obey any order).  Now with this power Lelouch wages war against the Empire under the alias Zero, and he does this for the attempt to fulfill his childhood vow.  He is also determined to destroy the Empire to avenge the death of his mother and to create a world where his sister Nunnally can live peacefully.  And Yes, to all the manga fans out there, there is indeed a manga for this series that you could read.     

Loveless

Aoyagi Ritsuka (main character) is a troubled 6th grader.  Two years ago he had mysteriously lost his memory and seemed to have developed an alternate personality.  His mother constantly criticize (and occasionally beats) him.  She is always asking what happened to the "real" Ritsuka, and her his only defender and friend (his older brother Seimei) was recently killed.  The suddenly Seimei's apparent "friend" Soubi appears.  Soubi tells him that Ritsuka's true name is "Loveless," and that Soubi was apparently assigned by Seimei to take care of Ritsuka and was also ordered to protect him.  Soon Ritsuka gets sucked into bizarre underground society where teams of people, who have a "Fighter Unit," and a "Sacrifice" battle using elaborate and wonderful-phrased spells.  Throughout this series Ritsuka seeks both acceptance of himself, and the answer to the mystery of who killed his brother and why.  He also wants to know who the "real" Soubi is.

There also is about a 12 episode anime for this if you have a little time to watch it.

Fantasia

First things first is that this a movie that people act in.  Soooo anyway this being regarded by many as Walt Disney's masterpiece, Fantasia is predicted the modern music video by creating nine animated segments that were inspired by compressed versions of well-known classical music.  It features the work of Disney studio's artists at the full height of their powers, and are also coupled with conductor Leopold Stokowski's musical arrangements. "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" features the one and only Mickey Mouse as the magician who oversteps his limits.  "The Rite of Spring" tells the story of evolution, from single-celled animals to the death of all the dinosaurs. "Dance of the Hours" is a ballet performed by ostriches, hippos, elephants, and of course there's alligators as well.  "Night on Bald Mountain" and "Ave Maria" set the forces of darkness and light against each other as a devil like creature is celebrating is interrupted by the coming of a new day. There are more than one Fantasia but I only talked about one of them.

The Avengers

Marvel Studios presents yet another great movie...The Avengers! It features Iron Man (Robert Downey jr.), the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (chris evans), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson).  Throughout this movie they must fight enemies that emerge and threaten global safety.  Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson), the director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D. seems to find himself in need of a team to defeat the enemy and bring the world back from the brink of disaster.
